146. $300
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Inspiration and Innocence”, ca. 1906. I can find no sales records for this evidently rare model, although it is shown in Ly, Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Vol. 2,
page 608. Its big and heavy, 26 inches wide and 21 inches tall, and has been professionally refinished. I see only one
boo-boo, the loss of part of the index finger on the left figure. Not readily noticeable. Note the three attached dragonflies
on the center mount. The clean porcelain dial sits behind a flat beveled glass, with the original hands. The signed 8-day,
time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking as expected. A large and impressive double-figural that is rarely
seen. $300–$600.
