143.           $350

Ansonia Clock Co. blue delft shelf clock and matching shelf,ca. 1900.  You won’t find this one in Ly’s volume on Ansonia clocks, nor will you find matches on LiveAuctioneers or the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide.  The clock is 7.5 inches tall, the shelf is 4.5 inches tall.  This clock resembles the hanging porcelain clocks Ansonia made, but those are one-piece (see Ly, Ansonia Clocks & Watches, pages 639-645).  It is stamped Royal Bonn on the back, with additional markings.  The movement is a one-day backwind, time-only, and is running strongly. The porcelain dial has a gilded centerpiece and is signed at the bottom, behind a flat beveled glass.  There is a hairline crack on the bottom right of the clock that is not noticeable from the front.  $350–$500.
