136.           $250

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Crystal Doric No. 0”, ca. 1913. A rare model with no sales records on LiveAuctioneers or the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide.  The gold-plated and lacquered case is 9.5 inches tall, the smallest of the four Doric models (Ly, Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Vol. 1, page 231) with four beveled glasses.  The top is of a different material, possibly just brass, and may need polish.  The convex silvered dial has raised bronze numerals and cut serpentine hands; the polished round movement runs 8 days, time and half-hour strike on a cathedral gong.  It is running and striking accordingly.  AAC sold this lovely little clock in 2022 for $301. $250–$400.
