Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Empire No. 31”, ca. 1905. Well,
look at this! Girl in bonnet, a must have! The clock is 22.5 inches tall in barbedienne bronze with rich gold feet and
trimmings. There are two cut glass columns and four beveled glasses; the signed, decorated dial is porcelain, the hands possible
replacements. The 8-day time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking on the standing cathedral gong. What’s not to like? It’s in perfect condition. This model sold at Fontaine’s last year for $500. $275–$500.
