131.           $450

Ansonia Clock Co. “Jupiter”, ca. 1914.  One of Ansonia’s higher-end crystal regulators, with cut glass columns and gold ornaments over the brass case.  It stands 16.5 inches tall with four beveled glasses; the front and back door are bowed and the finish is a bit tarnished.  The signed porcelain dial bears the Ansonia logo with proper hands; the visible escapement has ruby pallets.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running but not striking.  The most recent sale of this model was at Tom Harris in 2021 for $475.  $450–$600.
