Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Kent”, ca. 1904.  The Kent is a City Series clock, shown on page 194 of Ly’s Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Vol. 1.  It was “made in dark old oak only” in a “polished cabinet case” that is 14.5 inches tall.  The signed paper dial with a gilt center piece is yellowed and sits behind a flat beveled glass in a brass sash.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking the hours on a cathedral gong and the half-hours on a nickel bell.  AAC sold this clock in 2021 for $125.  $100–$200.
