E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Falka”, ca. 1885.  A 23-inch walnut case with an old finish.  The door glass is a modern replacement as is the signed paper dial.  The hands are correct. The Welch 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  There is a sandwich glass pendulum; no label on the back.  Shown on page 395 of Ly, Welch Clocks, Second Edition.  Three listings on LiveAuctioneers, most recently sold at Harris for $110; two listings on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide.  $100–$200.
