107.           $100

Welch, Spring & Co. “Litta”, ca. 1885.  A 22.5-inch refinished walnut case with old glass in the door and some loss to the gold stencil.  The dial has been repainted, the hands are probably replacements.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on the wire gong; there is a Welch pendulum with an opaque center glass and new black paper on the interior.  A very dark and partial label on the back.  One early sale on LiveAuctioneers, none on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide.  $100–$200.
