Vienna one-weight wall clock, ca. 1880. A large clock (60 inches long)
in oak with an old, clean finish. Note the unusual ball finials. The door glass is a replacement, the side lights original. The porcelain dial is unsigned, with a seconds bit, proper hands, and a hairline crack between the center opening and the winding
port. The time-only movement is unsigned and unmarked; it is running but stops intermittently. It may just need to be
worked in after sitting unused for many years. My consignor tells me it runs for 30 days or more. There is brass weight
and a hollow pendulum bob, brass on the front only. Delivery for $200. $500–$800.
