148.           $1500

Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 3 ½ Parlor”, ca. 1880. A second example; this is also the ‘later’ model, made sometime after 1883 or so.  Note the silver-trimmed side ornaments, the walnut frame around the calendar glass, the smaller crest (which may be a modern replacement, and has been broken and repaired), and the later version of the glass pendulum.  The clock stands 20.5 inches tall with a clean old finish.  The dial glass is old in a nickel bezel, with an old black paper dial and proper nickel hands.  The outer calendar glass may be a replacement and the inner calendar dial glass appears to be modern as well; note that the logo is in gold lettering (early style).  The movement is signed by Welch and made for the ICCC; it is an 8-day time-and-strike and is running and striking on a nickel bell, and the calendar is advancing.  The backboard is one piece and may be a replacement, along with the instruction label.  But no way around it, this is a nice example.  An ICCC key is included.  $1500–$2000.
