Ansonia Clock Co. “Rosalind”, ca. 1904. A 12.5-inch-tall
by 15.25-inch-wide enameled iron case with the original finish, including on the figural ornaments. The visible escapement sits
over a signed porcelain dial that has very slight damage at the left winding port; there is a beveled flat glass in the bezel. The pallets are steel. The embossed backplate of the movement bears the Ansonia logo; it is running and striking on the hours
and half-hours on a cathedral gong. $100–$200.
