233.         $100

Ansonia Clock Co. “Library Ink” inkstand clock, ca. 1907.  A 5.5-inch tall by 8.5-inch wide cast double inkwell clock with a gilt or Syrian Bronze finish (not sure which).  Much of the gilding/bronzing has been worn off or lost.  The porcelain dial has a gilt center ring and is signed Ansonia at the bottom; it sits behind a beveled glass.  The hands are proper.  This is a one-day backwind and backset; it is running without problem.  The inkwell lids are hinged, I don’t believe there were glass inserts.  There is a penholder at the front.  No sales records that I can find.   $100-$250.
