Yale Clock Co. metal case w/ pendulum, 1879-1885.  A 4-inch-tall metal case that was painted gold some time ago and is due for a repaint.  Yale made several models like this, with a one-day pendulum movement, always visible from the front.  The sides of the case appear to depict a boy or young man from earlier times. The paper dial is very yellowed and dark.  There is a glass over the dial and porthole.  The back of the case bears the Yale name with patent information; the winding key is attached and there is a knob to set the hands.  It is running vigorously. Needs some attention applied to the dull case.  $25-$125.
