Brewster & Ingrahams miniature OG, ca. 1845. A second example of this model, this one with a remote alarm mounted in the bottom of the case, and that has a brass spring and strikes on a brass bell. The 17-inch case is veneered in mahogany with two period/original glasses, and again the milk-glass tablet is still in good shape. The dial has been repainted, the hands are correct. The 30-hour ribbed movement is signed and running, striking on a wire gong and driven by two brass springs. A decent label inside. I canít find any recent sales of this model, but it is not rare. $100-$200.
