102.           $200

Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. “Benworth” calendar, ca. 1895.  A 27.5-inch walnut case with a clean finish and a new but proper glass in the door.  The dial is paper with some discoloration, the hands are acceptable; the 8-day, time, half-hour strike, and calendar movement is running without problem and the simple calendar is advancing.  The upgraded Gilbert pendulum and gong base are correct to this model.  There is a bit of a label on the back.  Tom Harris sold one in 2019 for $175; AAC sold one without a calendar last summer for $250.  $200-$300.
