97.              $300

Southern Calendar Clock Co. “Fashion No. 4”,ca. 1885.  A third example of this model with an old finish, good patina, and three original finials.  The door glass is old/original and the Fashion lettering is in bad shape.  Both dials are likely original, with soiling and chipping.  The inset seconds dial is in particularly bad shape.  The hands are original.  The Seth Thomas 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking as expected and the calendar is advancing; I think the calendar mechanism is a modern replacement.  The pendulum is proper, the bob is faintly damascened.  Good labels inside.  $300-$400.
