Seth Thomas “Parlor Calendar No. 4”, 1877. The best No. 4 I have seen. The walnut veneer is perfect with burl accents and ebonized trim pieces. Both glasses are
old, the dials repainted, the hands correct. The Seth Thomas 8-day, time-and-strike spring-driven movement is running and striking
on a large brass bell, the calendar is advancing. The label on the back of the door says this clock was put into play on November
1, 1877. And still running. Schmidt’s Antiques sold one in similar condition in 2020 for $800. $500-$800.
