82.              $100

Ansonia Clock Co. “Regulator A Calendar”, ca. 1901.  A 31-inch oak/oak veneer case with a clean old finish.  Both glasses are old; the dial glass has been replaced. The ‘Regulator A’ lettering on the bottom is correct to this model.  The dial is old paper, clean with slight yellowing and wear. The three hands are Ansonia issue, but the calendar hand looks like a modern replacement.  The 8-day, time-only spring driven movement is running nicely and the calendar advances.  The interior is painted black, there is a good black and gold label inside noting that this clock was made in the Brooklyn NY factory, which opened in 1880 and closed in 1930.  $100-$200.
