Waterbury Clock Co. “Regent” calendar, ca. 1881. A 31-inch case in mahogany veneer with an old finish.  Dial glass is modern, door glass is original, with the “Regulator” label.  The painted dial is also likely original, with little flaking or wear, the hands may be replacements.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike spring-driven movement is bright and shiny, signed with the Waterbury logo.  It is running without issue, regulated by a Waterbury pendulum.  Good labels on the back.  A nice example.  $100-$200.
