Atkins Clock Co. “Round Top Drop”, ca. 1863.  A 24-inch rosewood case with an 8-day, time-only movement and two old glasses.  The case is clean and polished; the lower glass bears an old gold foil emblem but has been rebacked.  The dial is probably an old repaint with some smearing of the numbering.  The 8-day, time-only movement is unsigned, as is typical; it is running.  There is a great label inside.  This model is not common; there is but one example in the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide over the last 22 years.  $200-$400.
