Ansonia Clock
Co. “Bagdad”, ca. 1904. A 49.5-inch oak and oak veneer case with an older, clean finish; there is some peeling of the veneer
on the base. The three glasses are old, the dial is new paper, the hands correct. The Ansonia nickel-plated 8-day, time
and half-hour strike movement will run briefly and needs cleaning; it is spring-driven. The pendulum bob and beat scale are
original. No label. AAC sold a walnut version last summer for $500. $400-$600.
