Seth Thomas “Queen
Anne”, 1887. The catalog description says this model came in walnut, oak, mahogany, cherry, and ebony, but this case appears
to me to be ash. The case is 36 inches long, the door glass is old, the dial painted and labeled with a retailer in Bournemouth;
the only Bournemouth I can find is in England. The hands are Seth Thomas issue, with the exception of the seconds hand. The 8-day, time-and-strike spring-driven movement is signed and running, striking on a cathedral gong. The catalog description
says it has a “superior slow striking movement and cathedral bell”. AAC sold a Queen Anne in 2020 for $400. $350-$450.
