Seth Thomas “Panama”, 1888?  A second example, this one in cherry – just beautiful.  A clean finish, all the ornaments and doo-dads, old glass in the door, a repainted dial, proper hands.  The 8-day, time-and-strike lyre movement is running and striking as expected. A worn black label on the bottom, a partially illegible date stamp on the back.  Walnut or cherry?  Why not both? $650-$975.
