Seth Thomas “Signet”, 1880-1885.  An unusual Seth Thomas case design; this model is difficult to find.  The walnut case is only 23 inches long and could use some polish.  Both glasses are period/original, the painted dial is in good condition with the proper hands. The signed movement is time-only, 8-day, and running with authority.  A good purple label inside offering instructions to you novices. Horton’s sold one in 2019 for $250; the most recent sale on LiveAuctioneers was in 2012.  Not a common clock.  $250-$500.
