Waterbury Clock
Co. “Quebec”, ca. 1885. A beautiful 41-inch walnut case with a clear old finish. Waterbury also made a Toronto and an
Ontario model, and all three are some of Waterbury’s prettiest wall clocks and most difficult to find. This model is shown on
page 709 of Ly’s Waterbury Clocks & Watches, Vol. 2. The door glass is old/original, the painted dial has minimal chipping,
the hands are correct. The signed, 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a brass bell. The nickel
pendulum bob matches the nickel dial ring. The only thing this clock lacks is a label. Redlands Antique Auction sold one
in 2021 for $550. $500-$700.
