10.                   $1500

Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 30”, ca. 1909.  A 49-inch cherry case with a lacquer finish that is stunning.  The door glass is old, the dial holds old/original paint with just a bit of chipping at the IX, and three proper hands.  The unsigned Seth Thomas 8-day, time-only movement is running, driven by a shiny brass ST weight, and regulated by a ST pendulum stick and bob.  No label, no date stamp. Perfect.  Schmitt Horan sold a cherry-cased No. 30 last year for $2000, and a walnut version last November for $1300.  $1500-$2000.
