 5.                   $500

Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. “Regulator No. 11”, ca. 1891.  A second example of this model with a wonderful patina and no missing trim pieces. The door glass is original, with the original putty, the right side-glass has been replaced and a piece of the left side-glass is broken out, probably from the weight hitting it.  The original paper dial with an inset seconds dial is signed and intact, but very yellowed.  The hands are period and proper.  The movement is dirty and not enthusiastic about running and will need attention.  It is driven by two small brass weights.  You can also find this model with a spring-driven hourly strike. $500-$800.
