Jeweler’s regulator,ca. 1900. An 82-inch mahogany case with a burl panels on the top of the door, on the crest, and with a clean finish throughout. The door glass has been replaced. The 12-inch porcelain dial has had some restoration around the mainstem and winding
arbor. The hands do not appear to be original and have been adapted to fit; there is a sweep second hand. The pinwheel
escapement is running without issue, regulated by a lyre pendulum and driven by a brass weight. There is a carved base and carved
crest. A good-looking example. Delivery to the “lower 48” for $500 or less, based on distance. $1500-$3000.
