22-54.            $250

Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 14 Granger”, ca. 1885-1902. A 26-inch walnut case with a very dark finish, probably never cleaned of wax and dirt.  The crest seems not quite right and may be a remake.  The door glass is likely original, as is the paper-over-zinc dial mask, with some foxing evident.  The hands are correct.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is a replacement and not a match to the original movement, although it was made by EN Welch for the ICCC.  It is running and striking on the wire gong and the calendar is advancing.  The original pendulum hanger is lost and the pendulum bob hangs below the pendulum window, but that is typical for this model.  There are no labels.  Horton’s sold one in 2019 for $350.  $250-$350.
