Dwarf Clock Co. “P. Gordaychik dwarf clock”, ca. 2010? The Dwarf Clock Co. exists on Facebook but the associated website is defunct. There is not much information available on the
FB page; Paul Gordaychik appears to be the owner. The case with the center finial is 47.5 inches tall; it appears to be hardwood
with a grain-painted finish to resemble walnut or mahogany. The hand-painted wood dial sits behind a door, with Roxbury-style
fretwork on top and three old-style brass ball finials. The dial is signed by the maker. The movement is an 8-day, time-and-strike
modern German movement, driven by two round lead weights, and regulated by a long pendulum rod and brass bob. The maker is SBS
Feintechnik. It is running but the strike will not shut off, it is likely a lift arm or stop is out of place from moving and
shouldn’t be a difficult fix. There is an instruction label on the waist door. The website doesn’t list prices, you can
call and see if you can reach him. $250–$1000.
