DR-21. $50
Ansonia Clock Co. “Florentine No. 3”, ca. 1886. A second example, this one in the original (or very old) blue velvet. The brass fittings here are still in good condition, although
a corner piece is missing from the top front right side. The side handles are brass although the loop handles are missing; the
feet are also brass. The dial glass is beveled, the two-part porcelain dial is signed and there is a visible escapement. The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on the cathedral gong. Feeling crafty? This
guy needs a new velvet coat. $50–$150.
