F. Kroeber “Cabinet No. 13”, ca. 1888.  A 15-inch mahogany cabinet with a clean old finish; note the brass panel at the bottom.  The flat dial glass is beveled, the dial is porcelain in two parts with the Kroeber logo in the middle, and a fast-slow adjustment.  The hands are not typical.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement will only run briefly and will need attention; it strikes on a cathedral gong.  The backboard has been replaced, and the label lost in the process.  No sales records.  $100–$200.
