New Haven Clock Co. “Tagus”, ca. 1880.  An 18.5-inch walnut case with an old finish and a new glass.  The painted dial is soiled and has some chipping, the hands are not original. The 30-hour time, strike, and alarm movement is running and striking, the alarm untested; both strike on the nickel bell.  The movement is unsigned; there is a label on the back and a nice single-barrel pendulum.  $25-$100.
