RP–1.             $50

The E. Ingraham Co. “Peerless” kitchen clock, ca. 1915.  A 22.5-inch pressed oak case with a clean finish.  Note the lion on the crest.  The glass is old with a reasonably preserved gold stencil.  The signed paper dial is very yellowed, the hands are as shown in the catalog illustration.  The Ingraham 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking, regulated by an Ingraham pendulum; there is a good label on the back that refers to the St. Louis World’s Fair, held in 1904.  This clock appears to be part of a set of clocks introduced at that fair.  $50–$150.
