DL-1. $50
F. Kroeber Clock Co. “Parisian”, ca.
1880. The classic model every company marketed, 23.5-inches tall with a clean old finish and a period door glass, although Kroeber
does not show this model with a stenciled glass. The top finial is likely a replacement. The paper dial is badly yellowed,
the hands are period but not as shown in the catalog illustrations. The 8-day time and half-hour strike movement is die-stamped
Kroeber and is running and striking on the wire gong, regulated by a single-barrel pendulum. There is a label behind plastic
on the back. $50-$150.
