RP-9.              $25

Unknown maker miniature steeple, ca. 1870? A 14-5-inch steeple with mahogany and rosewood veneer, two old glasses and an original tablet in good condition.  The finial tips are broken off.  The dial holds the original paint but the numbering has been strengthened; the hands are period. The small round 1-day, time-only movement is running to beat the band, but unsigned and I don’t recognize it.  There is no label, but there is a shadow of a label on the back.  I posted this clock on Facebook and Silas B. Terry or Welch, Spring & Co. were suggested as likely manufacturers; I favor Welch, Spring & Co., but I can’t make a strong argument for it.  $25–$200.
