DN-23. $200
Waterbury Clock Co. “Calendar No. 43”, ca. 1912. A 28.5-inch
walnut case with an old finish. A trim piece is missing on the top right of the crest, but otherwise everything is present and
accounted for. The door glass is old, with minor losses to the reverse painting. Both dials are old paper with considerable
wear; the time hands are correct; the calendar hand is missing its tail. A replacement calendar hand is included in the case. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is not obviously signed but looks original. It is running, striking on the hour and half-hours,
and the calendar is advancing with a clunk. These calendars sell for around $300. $200–$400.
