New Haven Clock Co. pressed wood hanging clock, ca. 1915.  A 27.5-inch pressed wood walnut case with a renewed finish; note the nonfunctional level at the bottom.  The door glass is old with a gold stencil, the dial is old, yellowed paper with old hands.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is die-stamped with the New Haven Clock Co. logo; it is running, a bit tentatively, and striking on the hours and half-hours.  A nice pendulum; the label on the back would tell us who made the case and what its name is, but most of the label is gone.  $50–$150.
