CT-3.              $250

Ansonia Clock Co. “Santa Fe” REPRODUCTION,ca. 1990.  A 52-inch hardwood case stained very darkly to resemble black walnut or mahogany.  The carvings and trim pieces match the original model very well; the door glass is modern, the painted dial modern with some staining around the edges.  It bears the Ansonia name and logo and the hands are correct.  The reproduction movement looks the part but is not keen on running, and needs cleaning at a minimum.  It is driven by two brass weights that do not match, both are old, maybe the only old things on this clock.  The pendulum is a modern piece.  There is an Ansonia beat scale; no label and no indication of the maker that I can find.  A looker more than a runner; originals bring around $550 these days.  $250–$500.
