Seth Thomas Clock Co. Ship’s Bell “Monitor”, ca. 1935. A nickel-plated case with a hinged bezel and flanges front and back for mounting.  The 5-inch silver-plated dial shows some soiling, the overall length is 10.5 inches.  The lever movement runs one day and strikes eight bells (ship’s bells).  It is running and striking; see page 758 of Ly’s two-volume set on Seth Thomas Clocks.  Schmitt Horan sold one last July for $350.  $250-$350.
