232. $200
Upside-down skeleton clock, ca. 1990’s. This
clock was new out of the box and had not been used. It came with a glass dome that did not fit the base and broke. So
now it comes without a glass dome. I assembled the clock (not difficult) and with some oil got it running, but it needs adjustment
to keep running. It mounts to a polished marble base, but its four brass feet were not in the box, so it doesn’t have feet. The clock is 19.5 inches tall. The clock was made in China, although the porcelain dial says “Huguenin a Paris”. The
clock itself is the pendulum, with an inverted crutch held between two arms on the back post. It is running, probably for 8 days;
a large key is included. AAC sold one last January for $300, but it had a sub-base and dome; the sub-base will be included
with this clock if you like. $200-$300.
