Barry Neath skeleton timepiece, ca. 1870’s? The maker’s name is on the arch over the escape wheel at the top, but that is all the information I have on this English clockmaker. The clock is 12 inches tall; with the base and glass dome it is 18 inches tall. The brass framing is made of curves and hanging
branches; the silvered dial needs polish. The Maltese hands seem unlikely to be correct. This is a single train, fusee
movement; it is running but I don’t know the run length. It sits on an oval white marble tiered base with a glass dome, all
in good shape. $350-$500.
