Lovell Manufacturing Co. “Meridian” calendar
wall clock, ca. 1893. A beautiful rosewood grain-painted case with a glossy finish, 24 inches long. Both glasses are old/original,
the paper dial yellowed, the hands proper. The 8-day time-only movement was made by the Ingraham Co. and is running easily. Ingraham did not offer this case style in its own catalog, so Lovell probably bought the movements and installed them in this common
case style with their label. You can find sales of this model by Lovell on LiveAuctioneers, generally selling for $100-$200.
