banjo timepiece with a lever-spring movement in a walnut case. Brass side-arms and a brass eagle with a 3.5-inch painted dial
behind a convex beveled glass. The clock winds with a key on the dial and a key that will work (but is not original to this
clock) will be included. Running, 8 days and cute as a button; this is Waltham catalog number 1550, shown on page 320 of Ly,American Clocks, Vol. 2. Note that the tail piece has been broken off and reglued. These clocks have sold from $150-$300
over the past year (with one selling at Schmitt Horan a year ago for $550). $150-$300.
