165.               $500

Ansonia Clock Co. “Bagdad”, ca. 1904. This is the later version of this model in a beautifully refinished 49-inch walnut case with three old/original glasses.  The dial is likely original, yellowed over the last 100 years.  The 8-day time-and-strike movement has nickeled plates and a dial mounting ring; it strikes on a cathedral gong and is running and striking without problem.  Original pendulum stick and bob, with a beat scale.  No label.  A very nice example.  AAC sold a similar example last January for $550.  $500-$800.
