161. $225
Seth Thomas “Hudson”, ca. 1909. Later editions
of this 30-day clock dropped the decorative wood inlay; the 18.5-inch square case is mahogany, but very light. The glass is
old and possibly original; the 14-inch dial has been repainted, the hands correct. The 30-day, double-wind movement must think
it is a Kentucky thoroughbred as it loves to run; it is also as big as a thoroughbred. A good label on the back. AAC sold
a later model for $230 in 2020. $225-$400.
