Ansonia Clock Co. “La Orb”, ca. 1904.  A 12.5 x 14-inch porcelain clock with spectacular colors and well-retained gold highlights.  The two-part porcelain dial has a tiny crack between the 6 and 7; the inner dial has the Ansonia logo; the visible escapement has steel pallets.  There is a superficial crack in the case at the top center front.  The Ansonia 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement has a broken mainspring and will need repair; the strike side is running.  $250-$500.
