146.            $300

Ansonia Clock Co. “La Manche”, ca. 1904.  A 14-inch square clock in blueberry blue with pink roses on the front.  The case shows no breaks, cracks, or nicks and the gilding is pretty good.  The porcelain dial has a hairline near the 6, signed and with the Ansonia logo; there is a beveled glass in the rococo sash.  The hands are correct, but the lockdown nut has been replaced.  The pallets are steel.  The Ansonia 8-day time and half-hour strike movement has a broken or disconnected strike spring and will need attention; it is otherwise running without problem.  $300-$500.
