Seth Thomas “Column No. 3”, ca. 1863. This
is a miniature column & cornice, a 19-inch case in mahogany with repainted tortoise shell columns, two original glasses and a
repainted (and possibly new) dial. The hands are Seth Thomas. The spring-driven, 30-hour time-and-strike movement
is running and striking the wire gong. The label is tattered, but the maker is clear. A very nice example of
this uncommon miniature clock. $150-$300.
