115. $150
Seth Thomas “Column No. 1”, ca. 1850. A 26-inch mahogany
case with a clean finish, two maple columns, two old glasses and a period tablet in excellent condition. The contoured metal
dial has some fading and paint loss, the hands are correct. The 8-day, time-and-strike weight-driven brass movement is signed
Seth Thomas, Plymouth, and is running and striking. There is no maker’s label, but the label on the back says it was restored
by George B. Davis. A nice example. $150-$250.
